Rules
The rules are pretty simple and straightforward.
- 1. In order to give producers with smaller followings a more equal chance we ask that you do not publish your song on social media until after the contest is over. The producer names will also be hidden during the voting process until after the top 4 prize winners have been revealed.
- 2. This should be obvious but the song must be an entirely original composition and we'd prefer you do not recreate the sample pack's demo song.
- 3. You must use as many sounds as you can from the Free Essentials Metal Sample Pack.
- 4. You may use the sounds in the sample pack however you'd like, stretched, pitched, chopped or otherwise mangled in anyway.
- 5. There can be no full vocal tracks as we're trying to highlight the sample pack sounds but short vocal one-shots and samples are perfectly ok to use.
- 6. The song can be in any genre.
- 7. The song must be between 2 and 4 minutes in length.
- 8. The song can be created on any device, mobile or desktop.
- 9. The song must be delivered in MP3 format directly through email.
